Sleep disorders are common and often occur at stressful times in our lives. Transient insomnia usually only lasts for a few days to a few weeks after which we revert back to a normal sleep pattern but chronic insomnia is more debilitating and can last from a few weeks to months or even years. Insomniacs may find it difficult to drift off to sleep, they may wake in the night and be unable to go back to sleep or they may wake up too early.
Lack of sleep can impact our ability to function by causing tiredness, irritability and lack of concentration. In the longer term it can also affect our health. There are many reasons that sleep may be disrupted. I will work with you to identify the underlying causes and manage them appropriately. I will use hypnosis to teach you to relax and switch off and be able to sustain that state until it is naturally time for you to wake. I will give you the tools to be able to manage a healthy sleep pattern permanently.
